What you will see by booking this ticket

The Roman Forum (skip-the-line ticket)
The Roman Forum (Largo della Salara Vecchia 5/6) is in the center of the Fori Imperiali area on Largo della Salaria Vecchia. It is open at different times depending on the season. From January to March and from October to December, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. From April to the end of September, 8:30 am – 7:00 pm. The ticket office closes 30 minutes in advance. Hours may be extended in some periods of the year. The recommended tour time is approx. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The Roman Forum is the only of the Imperial Forums that can be seen on foot. The others can be seen only from outside, admiring them from terraces. The Roman Forum in its present form is the sum of buildings constructed over the centuries by many different emperors. The Forum was the undisputed center of political power in Rome and the city's administrative center in imperial times. It holds the remains of many edifices, temples (including the Temple of Romulus, included this ticket), triumphal arches and celebratory columns of incredible impact, some of which are very well preserved.

Palatine Hill – Via San Gregorio 30
Ruins of Iron Age settlements can be toured on the Palatine Hill, identified as the oldest center of Rome. The Palatine Hill was the site of major cults in the city, including that of Magna Mater (Cibele). Between the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, the Palatine Hill became the Roman aristocracy's residential area. To this day, we can still see the ruins of patrician homes, refined houses featuring incredible painted and floor decorations, such as those in the Casa dei Grifi. After the reign of Octavian Augustus, who chose the hill for his own home, the Palatine Hill went on to become the site of imperial palaces.

The Forum of Trajan (Piazza Santa Maria di Loreto)
The Trajan Forum, also known as the Ulpium, is the largest Imperial Forum. The Trojan Forum was the last one, built by Trajan after his victorious war to conquer Dacia. This forum stands out from the other Imperial Forums because of the variety of its monuments and its great size. The Ulpia Basilica is among the monuments to admire for its porticoed courtyard where the famous Trajan column stands.

Caesar's Forum
Caesar's Forum, the first to be built, is parallel to the Trajan Forum. Caesar had this forum built for a dual purpose: to celebrate himself and to expand Rome's political and religious center. Originally it was a large, long, narrow square, with arcades on three sides and a temple on the fourth side.

Which are the S.U.P.E.R. sites and how to visit them

The following "S.u.p.e.r. sites" are also included in the ticket, all of which are in the archaeological area of the Roman Forum: House of Livia, House of Augustus, the Neronian Cryptoporticus, Isiaca Hall / Loggia Mattei, Santa Maria Antiqua and Oratory of the Forty Martyrs, Temple of Romulus. All sites on the ticket are between the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, so easy to reach on foot. These sites can accommodate a maximum number of visitors at a time, which means you may need to wait for visitors to leave before entering.
The ticket includes guaranteed entrance to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Museum. If you cannot get into one or more of the "Super Sites" due to long waits or temporary closures, no refund will be given.
